April 2nd is a Global Day of LEGO Fan Play.
It is a LBLUG project, initiated by Trish Tsoiasue, but oversight, coordination and credit for the event will be shared with the global community. (Nothing great happens in a vacuum.

The event is shared under the Global Brick name, currently (as of 4/4/2015) just a facebook page and a domain registered that is not currently configured. There is a second facebook page, 2×4 Day that will be Trish’s personal expression of the date, but everyone is permitted to and encouraged to share on both sites.
